I receive twelve slides every Friday and I still do not know whether I need to intervene. What should I ask the team to send instead?

Ask for one page. The decision you must make, if any, and by when. The single risk that moved. The next commitment, with a name. If the team cannot fit it on a page, they have not decided what matters this week.
Forbid a rerun of the plan. You already approved the plan. The status is the delta. A chart that has not changed is not information.
When they escalate, require a consequence. “We are worried about the vendor” is not an escalation. “If the interface is unsigned on the 12th, training in October is wasted” is.
